He then went on to win his next 4 fights in the CES cage, all by finishes, and ultimately earning a much deserved spot on the UFC Boston fight card. Howard defeated Uriah Hall by decision and re-joined the organization.

Before passing away tragically in 2011, Doug Bolanes was putting the MMA world on notice, with 2 wins in 3 months, both first round finishes. The excitement Doug brought to the cage and the enthusiasm and respect he had for the sport is what we will always remember about Doug Bolanes Jr. There is no telling how far Doug would have gone in this sport, but for those who were fortunate to see him fight, there is little doubt there was a superstar in the cage.
